The TFT display anti-theft guard helps prevent annoying and costly situations – designed to accommodate the special Wunderlich anti-glare screen
Word has unfortunately spread that the TFT display is simply clipped in place and secured by three delicate circlips. These can be easily bypassed with a quick tug – no tools required. As a result, reports of stolen TFT displays are becoming increasingly common – often accompanied by collateral damage to the bike, as thieves rarely act with care.
This makes things doubly frustrating: without a TFT display, continuing your journey is not an option. This is especially inconvenient when you're travelling abroad. In addition, replacing the TFT unit – a central and complex control component – is extremely costly.
Our anti-theft guard makes it significantly harder for thieves: a frame secured with four screws prevents the display from being easily removed from its standard mounting. It helps avoid expensive replacements and frustrating situations by sending a clear message to any would-be thief (and they’ll get the message instantly) – don’t even think about it. This can also help reduce the risk of secondary damage.
